Critical Input proudly sponsors Shitbox Rally, a charity event for cancer research

CRITICAL INPUT is thrilled to announce its Gold Sponsorship of a team competing in the renowned Shitbox Rally, a charity event that combines endurance, adventure, and philanthropy.

This exciting rally pushes participants to their limits as they navigate the rugged terrains of the Australian Outback, all in the name of raising funds for cancer research.

Shitbox Rally is not your typical race. Instead, it challenges teams to achieve the unthinkable: driving cars worth just $1,500 across Australia’s most formidable roads. The journey spans an awe-inspiring 3,800 kilometres from Pt Douglas to Adelaide, encompassing iconic locations like the Simpson Desert, Tiari Desert, and Stony Desert.

As a Gold Sponsor, Critical Input proudly supports driver Michael Forrest, who used to work with the company. “It’s a true test of man and machine in the rugged Australian Outback,” shares Tim Griffiths MAICD, PMI, MCIPS, Managing Director of Critical Input.

“We’re looking forward to Michael’s video updates so we can share the adventure.”

Funds raised through Shitbox Rally contribute to cancer research, making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease. Shitbox Rally is the largest community-based fundraiser for the Cancer Council Australia, having raised more than $30 million since its inception in 2009. The event was founded by James Freeman, who aimed to create a platform to honour and grieve while raising awareness and funds for cancer research.

Critical Input’s support as a Gold Sponsor reflects the company’s commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

“By backing this iconic Aussie event, Critical Input joins the grassroots movement dedicated to funding vital research and creating hope for a brighter future,” Michael, who is now the director of Adelaide company InFORRM, explains.

“The collaboration between Critical Input and our Shitbox Rally team underscores the power of teamwork, adventure, and a shared sense of purpose. Together, we’re driving change, one kilometre at a time.”
